After a dynamic 2022 election cycle, the incumbent Park Board Commissioners did not secure reelection.
The present Commissioners, serving until October 2026, have proposed a Golf Services Plan. This plan aims to guide capital investment in golf assets for the next 5 to 10 years. Its objectives include optimizing the golf business model, aligning with best practices, promoting reconciliation and equity in golf, sustaining and improving current service levels, and maintaining the permanent park designation of golf lands. Importantly, the plan excludes the consideration of redeveloping golf lands for non-park purposes.
